Hello I am building a News blog and Social Networking site using joomla. As of now I have a site up using phpfox but it is limited in many ways so I am migrating to joomla 2.5. Look here to my existing site and see the news page.http://www.nyeverything.com/index.php?do=/newsfeed/ On my new site the newsfeed is the content for the whole site.So I will need a plugin built to accomplish that.I have the plugin for the phpfox site and I would like it built to use in joomla with a few extra features added. 1.PLUGIN: If you look at the main content of my site now you can see news stories.In the new plugin I want there to be a link at the bottom of the story called (comment on this story) and another (#'s) of comments counter. I want this to be placed under each news story that is displayed.Like this.....under each displayed story. (click here to comment on this story) (4 comments) 2.MAIN CONTENT DISPLAY / SIDE BAR DISPLAY MODULE: Instead of building 5 widgets or modules that go along with the news feed plugin just build one with many options in the content it displays. The widget needs to take all the feeds and break them down into catagories: check box for one: *latest news* *news from X catagory* *top stories* *recent news* *number of news stories to display* *catagory* *page* *template position* 3.BACKEND: I need the plugin to take in as many news feeds as I want to add to it and update all of them at the push of a button just as the feed in phpfox does. .So the plugin can be made simply but it has to be flexible enough that is can take in any news feed and display it in the way I want it to. 4.UPDATE: News for entire site will be updated either manually,1 button push for entire site feed update or through cron job. After update all old news stories go to database table archive. 5.BUDGET: For this project my budget is 70.00 to 100.00. The existing plugin only costs 35.00 and it has good functionality on a limited platform. I am payIng more than double that to have is developed for my joomla platform.
