An Implementation Specialist assists with software implementation by analyzing and documenting client requirements and contributing to system design specifications. This position will include updating project plans (which define statement and scope of work) for small to medium size projects, tracking progress against defined milestones and regularly communicating status to external/internal customers. Responsibilities: Ability to work closely with clients to analyze and document specific requirements Ability to explain technical software and provide solutions in layman terms Ability to contribute to software specifications and project plans Ability to gain superior knowledge of all the company’s software functionality Requirements: Strong technical knowledge of Windows, handheld technologies, mobile computers and web based applications Positive, customer oriented attitude Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills Strong organizational skills, including multi-tasking experience, ability to prioritize tasks and stay focused on priorities Project Management experience leading projects and interfacing with IT and Business departments, or liaison role between IT and Business/Sales Experience in a customer-facing role, where the expectation was the role was responsible for representing the customer in all facets of implementation/support MIS or a relevant degree.
