Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Oracle Developer for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial industry clients in Wilmington, DE. Candidates will be participating in a project wherein they will be integrating predetermined technical controls into an existing user developed business application inventory that spans over varied technologies and platforms. They will be responsible for learning the existing applications/code and integrating the appropriate code necessary. Candidates would also be responsible for documenting or assisting in the documentation of the approach and necessary changes. Candidates must also be capable of developing enterprise-quality code in a matrixed environment, previous experience in the financial (especially Credit Card/Card Services) industry is a major positive (although not required). Technically candidates must be proficient with Database Development utilizing either Oracle (highly preferred) or SQL Server and must also have very strong Unix/Shell/Korn Scripting skills.
