Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Program Manager for a contract assignment with one of our premier clients in Columbus, OH. Responsibilities: * The PM will represent client at one or more selected departments in support of a recent Grant award. The PM will help coordinate the work between the departments and provide analysis support as necessary for projects managed there. * The Program Manager will assist the internal team Project Manager as needed and will represent client at the selected department(s) in the inter-department Grant award project. The Project Manager will work at both client department site and the selected departments sites and will be provided work space at both locations. The Program Manager will monitor the progress of the projects for which the assigned department has responsibility and act as the point of contact for the partner agency when working with Client. * The Program Manager will report to the team Project Manager and will follow all Client PMO guidelines and policies. * The Program Managers primary responsibility is to help drive the entire effort from start to finish, working closely with the partner department's project manager. The Program Manager must ensure that the program is completed on schedule and that the final product meets the business, technical, and established quality requirements of the Client. * Accountable for the approval and sign-off of the program plan with customer representatives, such as portfolio managers, and all affected program stakeholders. * Accountable for management of scope for the program and gaining agreement and approval of scope changes with customer representatives and affected stakeholders. * Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and customer representatives. * Manage, and track the program progress against the program plan. * Coordinate and present proposals to agencies as necessary. * Identify and manage program risk and develops risk mitigation strategies, track to closure. * Ensure team leads adjust and revise estimates when necessary. * Responsible for the capture and reporting of required program management metrics. * Responsible to tailor and baseline all program templates. * Develop and facilitate achievement of program service commitments and performance metrics. * Ensure that tasks provide value and support the strategic direction of the program and meet service commitments; conduct reviews with agencies. * Accountable for the final program management evaluation review with stakeholders for approval upon program completion. * Communicate effectively with customers and software / hardware suppliers supporting the client as appropriate. * Identify and track issues. Required Skills: * 5 to 6 years of Relevant Experience * 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study. * Experience developing non funtional, stakeholder and functional requirements * Experience with Microsoft Project * Experience building relationships with stakeholders/customers * Experience tracking projects (including status reporting) * Sharepoint is a big plus
