Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for an on an Application Administrator with a leading company in Boise, ID that develops individual products to address more than one of your needs at a time. In this position candidates will be providing analysis and support for a SaaS environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: System Implementation, Product Releases, Production Support, Patches, Upgrades, and Scripting Preference for cloud computing experience Expertise in Microsoft Technologies DUTIES: Manages the day-to-day operations associated with the hosted product offerings, including deployment, management, monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting of all production software and systems. Plans and executes product releases in concert with the development and quality teams. Develops tools and automated solutions to support the automated provisioning of infrastructure and systems as well as automated deployment or applications. Participates in On Call rotation, acting as Primary point of contact for escalation of client issues and product outages. Develops solutions and strategies to migrate our products to Cloud providers. Works closely with the Development team on application design, environment creation, and release process while integrating the “DevOps” practices and principals. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 5 years’ Windows Server system administration experience with significant time spent supporting high availability customer facing SaaS environment. Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing an enterprise SaaS solution on a Microsoft stack (Windows/SQL Server/IIS). Experience managing Production, Development, and QA environments. Demonstrated proficiency of troubleshooting techniques and detail-oriented problem diagnosis. Familiarity with Automation Tools/Languages. Familiarity with networking concepts, firewalls, DFS, DNS, and Active Directory. Expertise in managing an AWS environment or other cloud solution a plus.
