Covestic is searching for a Network Program Manager to serve our growing business at a Fortune 500 enterprise client. This role will support the day to day execution of network tasks by the Network Engineers. Responsibilities will be to process field escalations, clear tasks that are blocked, investigate late tasks, QC new requests, support daily triage, & send out regular reporting. These responsibilities are detailed below. Detailed Responsibilities: Field Escalations: Field network task escalations ensuring they meet the bar to be accepted & rejecting if they do not. Blocked Tasks: Unblock blocked network tasks by being the conduit of communication between Network Engineers and Task Requestors Late Tasks: Investigate tasks more than 3 days past due supporting the Network Engineer as needed while negotiating new finish dates with the Task Requestors. QC New Tasks: Apply quality control to new requests ensuring they are ready for the Network Engineers by requiring template usage, accurate finish dates, & the presence of RFCs. Stand Ups: Take notes supporting the Program Manager during daily network task stand ups. Reporting: Produce and send out weekly and quarterly TFS task reporting. Qualifications & Ideal Characteristics: 4 year degree, CS or Engineering discipline preferred Strong project management or coordination skills and cross-group collaboration skills Background in networking Strong familiarity with current routing and switching technology Driven, competitive, hungry Passion for excellence Oriented to results Independent/self-starter Excellent verbal & written communication Preferred Qualifications: Enterprise scale network support is a plus College degree in related field or equivalent experience Hands on skills to include ability to log into a router console and configure parameters See Job Description
