Position Summary Are you comfortable putting up 12-13 sites in 4-5 weeks? Do you understand data well and able to work in ASP and MVC? You need to be able to work in websites that traffic millions of hits (~6 million); some sites get 20-30k visits a day! Maintain, monitor and upgrade current client websites. Generates website statistical reports for Project Managers. Complete a variety of webmaster duties, including IIS Administration, Domain Name and SSL Management, and development. Responsibilities: Manage multiple client websites, updating, and posting document and text changes. Manage small-scale web related projects from idea to implementation. Work with database administrator to design, develop, and update databases as they relate to Web applications. Create and maintain a consistent Web site architectural structure. Program HTML pages and upload them. Create original content for Web site where required. Find, diagnose, and fix Web site problems, including broken links (both internal and external), typographical errors and formatting inconsistencies. Create and implement stored procedures. Receive and respond to all e-mail messages for the Webmaster in a timely and courteous fashion. Analyze, report on, and take action on Web site user feedback. Ensure a consistent look and feel across the Web site by promoting uniform fonts, formatting, icons, images, and layout, and creating appropriate templates to assist content authors. Perform periodic Web site audits. Participate in Web development projects, including intranets and extranets. Recommend and implement enhancements and modifications to Web sites. Assess and itemize costs for Web site enhancements and modifications. Create IIS and data sources for developers on development and production servers. Liaise with systems experts on hardware and software issues that affect the Web site and its availability. Monitor, analyze, and report to Account Managers on Web site traffic. Create Scheduled Reports for WebPages with dynamic content updates for Account Managers. Requirements: 6+ years of hands-on web development experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline 2+ years experience writing and altering HTML code Strong .NET web development experience 2+ demonstrated experience working with SQL Server databases Strong understanding of IIS, .NET, SQL and FTP.
