Our client is looking for a Security Architect to add to their team. This person will be reporting to the VP of Information Security. The group is responsible for setting up security policies across the different business units. This person will be an active participant in reviewing the holistic security architecture and technical design of applications, and enterprise solutions. This role will need to understand the role between technology and process and have the ability to identify potential security control challenges at multiple technology layers, and provide clearly communicated security remediation or mitigation options by means of documented remediation/mitigation solutions, project communication and involvement, and formal assessment related findings or disposition reports for initiatives across the enterprise. This position will: - Collaborate closely with cross-functional application and project teams to analyze project/solution security requirements to determine current security controls posture and measure compliance with company policies and baselines, industry standards and ensure compliance requirements are met. - Assess risks and make recommendations to mitigate, enhance or incorporate additional security controls - Review security related audit reports, questionnaires and vulnerability/penetration test results and assist in developing solutions and recommendations to validate and address any identified risks - Develop security findings/disposition reports and documentation for both technical and non-technical consumers. - Provide strong technical guidance and recommendations regarding established technical security controls, baselines and processes Requirements: - Have a detailed understanding in a wide range of technologies and applications design development methodologies and be passionate about information security.
