I would like someone to code a enhanced new label control using Visual Basic 6.0 (vb6). These are the enhanced functionality items this control MUST support. (see attached image of these items as well) 1. I should be able to set the font's face background (not the label's background) to a solid color and a gradient and a picture. 2. I should be able to set a outline color and thick ness of the font as shown in the attached image. 3. I should be able to display a fine blur like glow around the outline (no cheap cheesy looking glow affect allowed. Must be a quality looking glow affect as in the attached image. 4. The label background should be transparent (no background color), it should be 100% transparent and display whatever the control is laying on top of). 5. I should be able to also set the transparency level of the FONT (as shown in the bottom right picture). Thats it. Im a VB6 programmer myself and could code this myself however I dont have the time. I need quality effect here. You can write the activex control using VB6 or C with my approval. I dont want to use .net because I dont want to have to worry about end users who dont have .net framwork install or have to worry about issues using the control from VB6). This control must work in VB6 as a activex control and I will have the source with the completed project in cause I need to modify it. No bugs! I must be able to test your progress by you supplying me compiled ocx with nag screen (to protect your work) as the work is being done. Remember I dont want any cheesy cheap looking layers of label controls to accomplish these effects. I can write cheesy looking stuff in VB myself. When the project is paid for you have to provide a bug free compiled ocx file and its source code.
