BUSINESS ANALYST - ENTERTAINMENT / SOCIAL MEDIA
POSITION OPEN AS OF JULY 16. Major entertainment company in Culver City is looking for a Business Analyst to work on a long term contract position. Previous entertainment industry and / or social media experience is required. Job Responsibilities: - Work with the business users and functional team to gather business requirements to create deliverables that would include: Business Requirements Matrix, Process Flow Diagrams, Functional Specifications, Use Case Scenarios, Wireframe Mockups, Test Scripts and Training / User Guides. - Conduct iterative requirements knowledge transfer sessions with the vendor to establish configuration and customization of the vendor’s software. - Work with senior members of the functional team and the vendor to identify options to meet business requirements. - Develop test plans and scenarios, work with QA and vendor teams to perform and certify functional and regression testing, and assist with user acceptance testing coordination. - Write user manuals and conduct training. - Perform post-implementation review and support with vendor and user groups. - Work with senior members of the team and with business users to document and re-engineer business processes. Job Requirements: - Experience with enterprise-wide applications. - Full project lifecycle experience on multiple projects. - Experience interacting directly with users, analyzing user requests and determining true user needs, determining alternatives (both manual and system-automated) and recommended approach, writing functional specifications, Use cases, test plans, test scenarios, executing functional & regression testing, documentation and user training materials. - Experience with financial and especially motion picture business applications is a plus.
