GIS Database Analyst Job
Yoh has an immediate contract to hire opportunity for a GIS Database Specialist to join our client in Phoenix, AZ. Job Responsibilities: - The GIS Geo Database specialist will work on supporting our GIS (Geographic Information Systems) including GIS DB, ESRI, and ArcGIS, Geo model, Miner and Miner, Telvent, and Schneider. - Contribute to and educate team members on the development and implementation of Miner and Miner, Telvent, and Schneider Oracle 11g databases, using spatial data types and complying with industry standard database design and normalization practices, to support GIS applications operations. This will include editing features and relationships, viewing, querying, and extracting geographic data. - Design, develop, and integrate C#.NET 4.0 assemblies to supplement GIS workflows. - Encourage, participate, and/or lead knowledge sharing among team in regards to GIS standards, geodatabase design and implementation, and application development to support GIS mapping users. - Lead and drive development team to successfully architect, complete, and implement GIS geodatabase solutions. Job Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems or equivalent preferred. - Five plus years of ESRI ArcGIS experience is required. - Four years of M&M ArcFM experience is highly desired. - Outage Management System experience is preferred. - GIS software and mapping experience is required. - .NET, C# development experience is preferred.
