INTRODUCTION AND SUMMARY This purpose of PHplans.com is to provide the backend engine that allows house plan designers to upload and share their home designs in an online catalog for purchase (by homebuilders and/or individuals). The catalog is a private label online software service that allows designers and resellers/affiliates to customize the interface with their own colors, logo, and any other business specific information and is a seamless experience from the customer's perspective. The website also allows resellers/affiliates to embed the house plan catalog on their own websites and earn a commission when someone purchases a home plan. Additionally, PHplans.com earns a percentage of each individual home plan sold through the website, whether directly or through a reseller. When a customer makes a purchase, the designer fulfills the order. PHplans.com does not provide order fulfillment or customer service-other than technical issues with the site. This project is in the final stage of release and needs a solid developer who can take the existing prototype/beta test site to a fully functioning ecommerce site in a reasonable amount of time. The site needs to be fully developed and fully tested to ensure it can meet the demands of a large, simultaneous user base. Estimated designers would be around 500 and resellers could be as high as 30,000 although daily traffic levels would vary widely. BUDGET $5,000 to a complete, functional, and bug free application. I selected the $5,000 - $10,000 budget category. The closer to $5,000 you can get, the better. LANGUAGES The current application is coded in PHP using a MySQL database hosted at MediaTemple.net.
