Description Seeking a creative software engineer to perform design, implementation, and unit testing of software subsystems. This person will direct a team through the implementation and unit testing of large subsystems. The interface subsystems are based on Sammi, a Motif interpreter. This individual will be responsible for interface designs to support the Sammi windows. Will use a C++ standard template library to take high level designs into software implementation. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 7+ years experience in the field or related area. Comments: We are looking for a senior GUI Software Engineer with extensive experience within the Medical Device industry. Candidate must have solid experience in C#/WPF/WCF. MUST HAVE: WPF/WCF/database design experience/knowledge with UML/candidate must be a implementer not an architect-designer. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience. The candidate must have prior experience developing software within the medical device industry. Description of Job Duties: Develop UI Software for a medical device, participate in software/UI design activities Write Specifications and design documents, unit tests. Participate in formal design reviews. Assist Software test team in developing Test cases and test plan. Self motivated individual able to work in a team environment.
