Werkz Ltd. builds high quality Kydex holsters and delivers quickly to meet the needs of demanding users. Goal: Deliver an ecommerce site that allows customers to purchase holsters, mag pouches, and for marketing to post content on the website. Using stock templates is acceptable, but please keep design clean and professional. Current website at / is reasonable, but it doesn't meet current needs because (1) wp-ecommerce consistently charges the wrong sales tax, and (2) it isn't set up as well for price-adder product options. Currently, we need about 40 products input (30 holsters, 8 mag pouches, a couple accessories). I am fine if we state 40 products exactly, with the owner's teams inputting any additional. Each product has variations for colors (4 different, 3 of which are additional cost) and hand (left hand, right hand). Constraints: Currently hosted with hostmonster, and would like to use Magento due to the flexibility it provides us in the future. Do not want custom code; want to be able to use Magento as is and update as necessary. Resources: We will provide the logo and product pictures, as well as a list of products and prices, as well as product descriptions. We will provide quantity (inventory) on hand for initial build out. Anticipated phases: 1) Work with business owner to finalize requirements. 2) Set up Magento test site with good visual template (dark preferred) using logo provided by owner. Includes CMS capability. Currently using test.werkz.com. 3) Input single product, have capability to purchase via Google Wallet and Paypal. 4) Input rest of products. 5) Migrate from prototype site to production site. 6) Walk owner through process of maintaining site. Do not care what portion of the world you work in as long as we can communicate effectively via email or skype. Budget can be flexible if necessary. Do not believe this is a major job for an experienced Magento developer, but I could be wrong.
