Location: Durham Status: Contract Compensation: $44.43 per hour Education Level: Not Specified As a Technical Support Engineer you will provide support for diagnosing, reproducing, and fixing software and hardware issues. You will troubleshoot protocols running on client hardware to assist customers with problem isolation and resolution. In this role you will assist customers by providing a range of technical support that includes resolving warranty customer problems via the telephone, the web or Autosupport, researching customer issues in a timely manner and providing the customer with recommendations and action plans. Qualified candidates for this role will have a experience with and knowledge of NFS and/or CIFS, Networking (including knowledge of Brocade and Cisco) and Storage technologies. Host side Operating System knowledge (Linux, Unix, Windows) is a plus. This position will be working 1st shift (Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm EST).
