Activity based costing Federal government department Excellent opportunity to enhance your public sector skills Our client is a Federal government statutory authority responsible for assessing and implementing the costing's for the public hospital system. In an economic environment where cost analysis is crucial, this department has the ability to stream line and improve the amount of individuals who can receive treatment. This newly created role will be responsible for identifying cost inefficiencies in order to maximise resources. They are currently looking for an activity based costing specialist to join their Sydney based operation. On a day to basis you will be responsible for the following: Implement costing methodologies and data analysis processes that can improve existing practices Influence the way that programmes are managed so that objectives can be easily be achieved Refine costing models and data management systems to ensure that analysis of information flows easily Essential criteria: The successful person must have experience in the following: Experience in leadership and people development Proven experience building a capable work force Highly developed strategic thinking Extensive experience within an Activity based costing position Experience working with management accounting principles Experience in Activity based cost analysis Desirable criteria: Experience within a health costing area Qualifications in economics, public administration, social sciences or relevant field. this is a role that will enable you to become a part of the federal government sector where work will benefit manay community groups.
