Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer Rate: £25 - £30 p/h Location: Lincolnshire Duration: 6 Months ongoing Apply to: The Background: Due to ongoing projects and workload, this contract is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work for a market-leading producer of filling and packaging machinery in the food industry. The Role: Joining the existing design team, you'll be working with their existing product database, focusing on producing 3D models and detailed drawings for several projects that will be delivered to high profile customers. You: With a good all round mechanical background you'll be fluent in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, with a high level of self-motivation and the capability to work alone or as part of a team. Any experience in bespoke or special purpose machinery is highly desirable, however strong Mechanical Design Engineers who are fluent with both CAD packages will still be considered. This contract has the potential to continue well into the new year, offering the chance to assist with production of highly bespoke equipment for leading names in machinery and handling systems.
