An excellent opportunity is available within our reputable Federal Government Client based in central Canberra . An experienced Business Analyst whom has contributed to large scale ICT business change or reform program is required for an initial five month contract. There is potential for a further twelve month extension. Working as part of the busy Business Integration Team, your primary responsibility will be to support the implementation of new biosecurity legislation. Furthermore: Your day to day responsibilities will include: · creating and maintaining design principles · assessing project objectives, impacts and changes · High level integration and impact analysis · Functional design and associated BA artefacts As the ideal candidate, you will be in possession of the following skills: · Successful track record in business and change analysis · Excellent client focussed interpersonal skills with a strong focus on eliciting requirements from subject matter experts, both from industry and within Government, through a range of channels · Strong written communication skills with experience in developing a range of documentation, including Change Impact Assessments, Activity models, business function models, process models and business requirements; · Knowledge of industry standard practices and methodologies such as BPMN and MSP Preferred Candidates will have the following experience: · Working with or having a sound knowledge of border security services; · Working in a multi disciplinary team and mentoring junior colleagues; and · A large scale business change or reform program In order to be considered for this position, candidates must be of Australian Citizenship and currently hold a Federal Government security clearance (Protected level or higher ideal).
