Javascript Developer - Contract - 6 months - Milton Keynes. I currently have an urgent requirement for a Javascript Developer to join a project for 6 months. You will develop and maintain JavaScript Frameworks and develop Javascript widgets and interface functionality using Dojo and custom framework architecture. Responsibilities include: - Coding and testing the Javascript components - Work with Business Analysts and Technical Architects on design aspects to meet technical and business requirements - Lead detailed design efforts to deliver the use case requirements given Software Architecture and Technical Infrastructure - Assist with the deployment and administration of Technical Infrastructure (servers and services, both J2EE and Database) Potential candidates will have: - Experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design - 2+ years developing Javascript (preferably using DOJO framework) - Experience with AJAX driven applications and JSON - Experience with J2EE Application Design, Coding, and Implementation - Experience with Web Application technologies such as DHTML, CSS, HTTP, TCP/IP, XML, Java Servlets, JSP, JMS, JDBC - Experience with open source frameworks related to web applications ( e.g. Spring, Struts, Hibernate etc. ) Please note this is a requirement for a Javascript expert who can also do some coding in Java and NOT a Java expert who can do some coding in Javascript. Excellent communication skills a must.
