Internal Communications Business Partner Financial Services Sector City of London Location Up to £350 per day Our client retail bank is on the search for an experienced Internal Communications Business Partner to join their Corporate Banking Division for 3 months starting ASAP. The successful candidate will work alongside the Head of Internal Communications and lead the implementation of the Internal Communications strategy across and within all parts of Corporate Banking arm. Responsibility for ensuring the communication plans are delivered, in alignment with banks business priorities and Internal Communications strategy. Act as an advisor for senior members of the Corporate banking leadership team Acts as a communications partner for BAU programmes and projects in Corporate banking, preparing communications strategies and leading on the delivery of the plans Duties and responsibilities: Devise, manage and implement effective communications channels and tactics for Corporate Banking, with a focus on creating: Alignment: Aligning staff behind a clear direction & purpose for the business that will drive strong financial and operational performance Dialogue: Creating opportunities for two-way interaction and conversation between managers and frontline employees Collaboration: Strengthening teamwork and the sharing of knowledge/best practice, across the Corporate Banking Division. Provide strategic communications advice for the senior leadership team Apply expertise and knowledge to maximise the potential of the communications resource within a strategic context Input, drive and assist the implementation of both communication and organisational initiatives Develop messages and content for key BAU programmes/projects Measure success and value to the business by implementing appropriate feedback mechanisms as appropriate for each communications channel Reporting and governance – adherence to delivery and operating governance including approvals and compliance with communications policy and guidelines As a member of the Internal Communications Network, participate in meetings as specified. Skills and experience required: Financial Services experience is a must for this role. Flexibility – the ability to work in a complex matrix based structure with a large volume of business critical tasks Ability to build rapport and influence senior stakeholders across the business.
