Serco Health, a leading facilities management provider is seeking highly motivated individuals to work as a Zero Hours Security Officers Various positions and hours available 12 month Fixed Term Contracts Starting rate £7.11 per hour Successful candidates will be ambitious individuals who can work well under pressure within a team but also work on an individual basis. You will have the relevant experience, good interpersonal and communication skills, including basic IT skills, although training will be provided for the successful candidate. The day to day tasks which will be undertaken are patrolling the hospital and providing a presence in the Emergency Department, key holding duties, dealing with vulnerable persons and sensitive information and responding to incidents potentially involving violent and aggressive patients / visitors. All applicants must hold an SIA door supervisors or security guarding licence and a CCTV licence is preferred but not essential. Although the vacancies are for zero hrs staff, the successful candidates could realise an average 30+hrs per week (not guaranteed) over 24/7 working period.
