You will sit with the Control Product team and be responsible for executing the monitoring and testing plan for the Product businesses. The role of the Control Product team is to work in partnership with the businesses to support sustainable growth whilst ensuring risk is managed within a defined risk appetite. This is achieved by ensuring processes are designed and executed effectively to manage operational risk through the application of key controls Specific tasks: * Support the Senior Manager, Monitoring & Testing with the execution of the monitoring and testing plan. * Support Business Partners in identifying the key operational risks and controls * Work with Policy & Governance team to ensure Banking Product businesses comply with the Group's policies, procedures and guidelines together with all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements where appropriate, implementing actions to protect the Group's business at all times. Capabilities, knowledge, skills and experience: * A large component of role will be working with Trading so good knowledge of the end-to-end trading life cycle and attendant risks would be preferable. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Demonstrable ability to partner across different teams and influence and align colleagues and stakeholders. * Relevant experience could include risk management or internal audit with experience in undertaking business reviews.
