Newly created permanent role to join a leading BI team Superb remuneration on offer and highly motivated / dynamic team Expert Teradata knowledge We are looking for a technical lead with Big Data appliance experience and BI platform experience as they transform from data warehousing and reporting towards real time data services, analytic's and Big Data. Reporting into the Platform Manager this is both a strategic and technical role, needing someone with a "Big Data" way of thinking. We are looking for someone who has a strong SQL background with Optimization, Tuning and scripting. The aim of the whole project is to take the big heavy system processes from around 6 hours down to a matter of minutes. This is a very critical, high level role which has just been created within the division where you must have a strong Data Appliance background.
