If interested send your updated resume in the id rita.d@bereangroup.com Location : Akron, OH Duration: 12 Months Contract Job Description : Roles and responsibilities: IP Architect role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including network design strategy, network engineering, implementation, migration planning, service design, proof of concept testing, optimization services, and customer training. The work is frequently on-site with customers during critical project phases. IPD Network Design Engineering IP Architect will be required to work in a consultative manner with customers, product management, sales support, customer services, and systems engineering to scope and deliver professional service projects, which can include the following responsibilities: • Produce network and service designs with the best architecture available to support our customer's services. • Produce network implementation and migration plans. • Configure equipment and services. • Test and Support networks in various stages of deployment. • Audit and assess customer networks • Formulate network management strategies. • Lead requirements and scoping workshops. • Produce and review technical statement of work documentation. • Provide appropriate training and assistance to partners and customers. • Evaluate customer networks for performance, scalability, and security. • Work with internal technical teams for product placement and feature improvements for reliability, availability, and serviceability. • Work closely with customers to test, design, and plan for deployments of new products and features. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customer's technical management and teams. • Develop and maintain in-depth technical and marketing knowledge of key Alcatel-Lucent IPD product lines. EDUCATION: • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience. • Advanced IP/MPLS training/certification (ALU SRA, Cisco CCxx, Juniper Junos) EXPERIENCE: •The ideal candidate should have work experience with some or all of the following (minimum 3+ years relevant work experience): • Experience delivering professional services including network strategy, design and engineering, implementation, testing, customer training and on-site support. • Network Engineering expertise at a Multi-vendor integration experience • Strong working level knowledge of IP Networking. Routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP), signaling protocols (RSVP, LDP), QoS, IP VPN, VLAN, VLL/VPLS, BRAS, etc. • Specific Alcatel knowledge of ALU 7x50 routers, 7705 SAS. • 3rd party router expertise, include Cisco/Juniper product lines. • Excellent hands-on network integration and problem solving skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Influences others outside of the team to ensure goals are met and conflicts are resolved. • Responds to requests for technical information and assistance in a timely and professional manner. • Build external contacts and actively exchanges information in support of job accountabilities.
