Customer Supply Chain Specialist
Our client, Kraft, a leading Canadian supplier of packaged products is looking to fill multiple positions for customer supply chain specialist roles for their Mississauga and surrounding locations. Pay rate: $19-$24/hour 5 days per week – must be flexible to work the Saturday shift Job Duties: Under the direction of the Customer Supply Chain Team Leader, the Specialist works closely with multiple levels both within Kraft Canada and the customer's organization. The Specialist is responsible for the total order to bill cycle as it relates to the accounts assigned. The Specialist is an integral part of the Customer Business Team (CBT) supporting the sales team and providing tactical real time supply chain support. They are responsible for the effective communication across the CBT and supply chain as it relates to the tactical execution of orders related to their portfolio. Additionally, they are responsible for the direct interaction with their external customer as it relates to on-time delivery, product supply and order management optimization. Within their portfolio, they are accountable for identifying and being an active part of the resolution for any supply chain related opportunities. They have direct accountability for CS related KPI's and as well as support cross-functional supply chain peers for reaching their KPI's. The Specialist seeks to generate ideas and information regarding continual improvement of the customer's logistical operations as it relates to Kraft. Responsibilities: Total Order Management: Understand the OTC cycle with direct ownership of the order to bill cycle. This includes managing customer orders from order development to delivery. Dependent on the ordering process as agreed to between Kraft and customer, creating and processing orders as required. This includes management of all active, discontinuation and new products. Direct point of contact for customer & CBT supply chain related support (ex. service). Understand order management system, Warehouse & Transportation Management system for accurate order processing ability. Work collaboratively with carriers to ensure customer delivery requirements are met. Meet key measures: product delivered is as ordered, invoice accuracy, delivered on time and fill rate. Customer Business Team (CBT) Involvement: Interact with Customer Business team members, providing lead knowledge as it relates to order management and delivery requirements Support and provide tactical leadership as required on logistic programs Customer Service: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customer Buyers and warehouse functions Pro-actively identify, resolve and escalate, if necessary, supply chain challenges Implement and develop customer supply chain scorecards and reviews Improve EDI efficiencies for ordering and effective invoicing. Ensure ongoing adherence to all Kraft Policies, Procedures and Processes so that the results will satisfy any audit review (e.g. PWC, Sales Finance Compliance Audits). Should the retailer also be a customer, the CSCS will require a detailed knowledge of Kraft ingredient products and able to provide to customers updated certificates on nutritional analysis and conformance. The ingredient customer base often requires delivery of product direct to the production line for JIT production. This requires seamless execution including increased stakeholder communication and order management focus.
