This position is meant to be for a full time permanent position, however my client is now open to contract. They need a candidate who has more USER INTERFACE experience as almost everything they do/build has to have UI in mind to build. Flex design is the most important to know and MUST have experience with it. JOB SUMMARY : Looking for an individual who will participate in project life cycle to build and maintain application components. Individual should have extensive programming experience in Java/J2EE and Rich Internet Applications Telecom Domain application development specially in VoIP device provisioning is desirable. RESPONSIBILITIES : In addition to the responsibilities outlined below, the actual duties may vary as a result of corporate directives, departmental objectives, and special project needs. REQUIRED SKILLS : 5+ years experience with web-based application development Primarily JAVA, Web Services and J2EE Experience with Java Enterprise development using major framework (J2EE, JEE, Spring, etc…) Experience with JBOSS, WebLogic, SOA tools, Portal Development. Experience with Java Swing UI components Experience Adobe Flex, Rich Internet Application Development Experience Effective Communications both Oral & Written Hands on experience with database query languages (SQL/PL-SQL) is required Familiar with UNIX environments, ORACLE databases, SQL & TOAD. Self-directed, self-motivated and hands on, with strong communications, organizational, interpersonal, presentation, project management and computer skills. Position requires 5 – 10% travel time. Desired Skills : Prior successful experience implementing test automation tools (i.e. Rational Robot, TestComplete) in a browser based-flex/flash environment.
