POWERBUILDER DEVELOPER RICHMOND, VIRGINIA 8+ month contract Experis, formerly COMSYS, is looking for a Sr. PowerBuilder Developer to work on an exciting project for at CarMax in Richmond, Virginia. Carmax was named by Fortune as one of the best 100 companies to work for. They are integrating with .NET applications by consuming web services by Powerbuilder. With several strategic and tactical initiatives to accomplish this year, you will work on tactical projects with a 1 week to 2 month duration and/or strategic projects that last 4-6 months. Skills needed are 5+ years of PowerBuilder Development with version 9.0 or 12, Sybase 12.5, PFC, and SQL Server. You will need to be able to write triggers and procedures at the database level. Must have experience maintaining PowerBuilder Foundation Class (PFC) based frameworks. Strong relational database and SQL skills are also required. UNIX scripting is a big plus. Must have excellent communication skills and experience conducting JAD sessions. Must also be able to create technical documents. Lead experience desired. Will be working with the Development and Management team. Requirements PowerBuilder 9.0 or 12, Sybase 12.5, PFC, writing stored procedures and triggers at the database level.
