COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY PRODUCER Commercial Photography Production Company is looking to fill the position of Photography Producer in their New York region, which has multiple high-volume sets in 3 locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn. POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for acting as the primary liaison between the production company and assigned clients Responsible for estimating, coordinating, supervising, file management and invoicing on all assigned client projects ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Develop and maintain contact and project integrity for the assigned clients Create detailed schedules and estimates, negotiate rates, specify usage rights Provide timely project estimates, deliver signed contract Maintain and track accurate project expenses Collaborate with Production Director to schedule client projects Supervise pre-production meetings to provide creative direction for photography, styling, props and hair & makeup Develop, organize and maintain shot list, client image folder, track digital images Coordinate post-production services, organize digital files for client delivery Oversee merchandise/product delivery, staging, packing and returns Hire and supervise team of freelance resources and ensure deliverables Conduct model castings, book models based on creative direction Supervise Production Assistants and Merchandise Coordinators Prepare accurate and timely invoices Maintain client contact and relations Attend to client's and crew's needs during production, troubleshoot as needed REQUIREMENTS Education/Training: 2 years college with focus on Communication or related field Experience: Minimum of 4 years in project management and customer service Excellent FileMaker, PhotoShop, and Excel on Mac platform Experience in the Photography Industry or related field Some experience in both still and fashion high-volume photography production Excellent management and people skills Detail oriented, organized, able to manage multiple projects WORKING RELATIONS Internal: Works closely with photography teams and crews Works closely with Management Team, Production Director, Studio Director/Manager, Photographers, and Assistants Supervise staff or freelance Production Assistants and Merchandise Coordinators External: Current and potential clients, photographers, assistants, set builders, stylists TO APPLY Please provide a cover letter and resume.
