My client a large oil & gas firm is looking for a financial professional to come and assist with the reconciliation of a multi-million pound project. The project is looking at the rationalisation of a large department and working out the need for them and potential redeployment of staff around the country. You won't be doing the rationalisation but consolidating the spend for the project. You will be expected to consolidate all the figures from opex spend and use standard reporting procedures to pass up to group. You will be solely responsible for this process and will be reporting to the project director. You will also be responsible for benchmarking and analysing the budget and timescale of the project - you will do monthly presentation to senior stakeholders and sponsors of the project showing how effectively the project is moving on. You must have extensive experience of working in large multi-million pound projects and reporting on them, also your budgeting experience must be excellent and you will be expected to be an excellent communicator with a strong ability to push back against project leads with ideas on the project improvement.Goodman Masson is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
