Please note this is a 1 year contract position. Skills: Telecom/PBX Voicemail system, IP Telephony, Cisco (+) The successful candidate will be responsible for: - daily responsibility for support of global voice systems. - handling day to day end user cases and resolve all voice related issues globally - perform troubleshooting and problem resolution related to voice systems - manage voice circuits, phone numbers and advanced features provided by telecom carriers - provide documentation and training for level 1 service desk, voice team and end users –including publishing end-user IT Knowledge Base documents for self-service - work with voice team and vendors to solve complex telephony or systems issues - familiarity with SIP, Internet Telephony, T-1, E-1 and POTS lines and internal wiring and patching The candidate must be available and be willing to work some evenings and weekends to support on-going projects. Knowledge & Skills: The successful candidate will have: - two or more years’ experience managing a PBX and voicemail system - minimum of 1 year IP telephony experience, Cisco preferred - excellent communication and customer service skills - good documentation ability required -especially end user and training documentation - ability to work with a team and learn quickly - Carrier experience with circuits, phone numbers and SIP preferred - Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems For consideration please include Job # 1440.
