Import/Export Specialist Responsibilities: Handle full set import/export documents, L/C, shipping documents and customs declaration independently. Issue Purchase Order, Sales Order, Invoice, Packaging details, Item registration. Contact and coordinate with external (customers, vendors, 3PL warehouse, freight forwarder) and internal parties, and negotiate if necessary. Update and monitor delivery, adjust if necessary, and keep tracking. Handle customer enquiries, complaints, orders follow-up and coordination. Prepare summary reports & perform general clerical duties. Maintain filling system to ensure easy retrieval of information. Check bills from vendors, sales expense sheet & enter them in the system. Customer/ Vendor registration. Other Responsibilities: Miscellaneous duties to maintain office like ordering office supply or office equipment troubleshooting is required. Requirements: Full knowledge in handling full set of I/E, L/C and customs declaration. 1 to 2 years or more experience in handling order and shipping arrangement, or international shipments. Pro-active, responsible, strong problem solving skill, open-mind, independent and able to work well under pressure. (externally to customer/vendor, also internally to sales people) Hands-on, detail-oriented and systematic, be able to coordinate well with various parties. Fluent in English. Capability of speaking Japanese is preferable. Benefit: Hourly rate staff and maybe change to permanent in the future if performance is satisfactory
