Project Manager
This role will serve as on project manager for the day to day operations of our ABP Implementation for our Comcast Client. This person would be responsible for managing a specific area under the ABP Implementation and responsible for managing the project to implementation. This person will plan, execute, and finalize projects according to the strict deadlines and within budget. This will include acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of the team members and any third party contractors in order to deliver the projects according to plan. This person will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout the lifecycle. Requirements 1. At least three years of direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution. 2. Strong familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project 3. Understanding of Billing System Migrations 4. Understanding of Release Management 5. Experienced at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential. 6. Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines. 7. Ability to effectively prioritize and executive tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial Education and Experience Computer Science or Computer Information Systems. Experience in the Cable and Telecommunications industry, PMP certification is a plus. 1) Working with team leaders to help create detail project plans that the team leaders can revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. (Baseline) 2) Collect team plans weekly and consolidate into a management level plan, consisting of critical path, major milestones, issues and risks. 3) Works with team leads to create and consolidate weekly status reports. 4) Reviews quality deliverables prepared by team before passing to customer & management. 5) Effectively applies PM methodology and enforces project standards. 6) Prepares materials (PPT Decks, Visio, Project Plans) for Operational and Executive Steering Committees for reviews and quality assurance procedures. 7) Manage and minimizes our exposure to risk on project. 8) Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
