Our direct client is a global consulting firm with expertise in identifying, sourcing and implementing leading-edge enterprise networks and technology. This company is a trusted advisor to many globally recognized customers including large multi-national organizations, the largest private equity firms and Global 1000 corporations. Currently this company has a superb contract offering for a solid candidate to coordinate an enterprise deployment of SIP. SIP trunks will include management of the architecture, the bid process and flow, and management of the deployment plan. The candidate will have ownership starting with sourcing the technology, managing the vendors for the next generation Voiceover IP, SIP trunks, thorough transformation of the older technology, all the way through complete implementation. The PM is responsible for leading all facets of the client engagement encompassing development, implementation and execution of IT strategies. This position requires a multi-talented individual that is knowledgeable in IT sourcing and change management practices. This includes all aspects of IT including network infrastructure components and transport services, SIP and VoIP deployments, virtualization, security, wireless and Wireline emerging technologies, collaboration solutions, hardware and software considerations, licensing and maintenance arrangements, and other adjacent IT categories. EXPECTATIONS INCLUDE: Performing all aspects of project management in support of client engagement Performing analysis of client networks, voice systems, data center, storage, and other aspects of IT Infrastructure Development, documentation and implementation of project strategies that will provide optimal results for the client balancing key operational, technical, financial and contractual requirements Developing, documenting and managing client and service provider communications on behalf of clients with adherence to client policies and practices Presenting recommended strategy and detailed analysis throughout the engagement and as events warrant Supporting special projects as well as routine and ad hoc reporting requirements Demonstrating ability to develop and cultivate relationship across various levels of the client organization Actively participating in account planning, sales and solutions development within current engagements or prospective clients Supporting sales and delivery of IT solutions that align with client objectives and strategic operating goals QUALIFICATIONS: Proven experience in IT planning, organization, and development Understanding of network implementation, re- architecture, network and IT PM jargon Breadth of talent that can work both at the strategic/executive level and at the tactical/analyst level Demonstrated leadership skills with willingness to readily and voluntarily take ownership of scope expansion Strong consulting, financial modelling, project management and writing skills Excellent interpersonal and teaming skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively with individuals developing and strengthening relationships Superior verbal communication skills and presentation capabilities demonstrating the ability to confidently define, defend, and execute solutions while assimilating different points of view Self-motivated, highly professional and ambitious over achiever Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail demonstrating the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to travel regularly, as travel will be required in support of client deliverables, estimated to be 50% This contract position is expected to be 8 months in duration.
