Befrienders provide invaluable additional support to the people that we work with. We have a range of opportunities for volunteers from helping with homework to accompanying people to appointments. The support is tailored to meet individual need. Norwood’s roots are in the Jewish community but we work with a diverse community and aim to recruit volunteers who reflect this diversity. Training, support and expenses are provided for all roles.
