Temporary Site Chemist Ref : 17481 Contact Martin Cove mc@sci-search.com Our Yorkshire based client are actively looking for a Site Chemist to carry out site testing / sample preparation on a Landfill site. Duties for this position will include :- - Using a variety of hand held field based analysers to test gases and water samples - Understanding environmental legislation and limit values for contaminants - Taking and preparing samples to be sent to external laboratories for testing - Completing sample identification documentation - Working outside (in all weather) Applications are invited from candidates with a HNC / BSc in Chemistry, together with previous suitable skills and experience gained in similar environmental testing environment.
