Communications Analyst Financial Services Sector 6 month contract role – immediate start City of London £180 per day Our client prestigious retail bank are on the search for a talented Communications Analyst to ccomplete elements of a project or communications plan, under supervision, assisting in the design, build and delivery; to support the delivery of complex communications plans that require drawing together specialist resource and skills from across the wider communications team; and to execute elements of the communication plan that require drawing together multidiscipline communications. Key Deliverables: Understand communications needs, help define approach, channels & develop communication/project plans to meet client needs Execute elements of communication project plans to a high standard, on time, meeting budgetary requirements In conjunction with Communications Partners and team ensure feedback mechanisms are in place to measure the effectiveness of communications initiatives Represent communications at meetings as appropriate Help to define, develop and implement a co-coordinated approach to positioning and delivering efficient and effective employee communications to the Group strategy in liaison with Group Communications. Help to manage change programmes. Research, analyse and evaluate options and provide recommendations to the Communications Manager Manage partial delivery of a complex communications/project plan to time, cost and quality Draft communications planning/project documentation, such as sub project scope, Business Requirements, Implementation Approach, Post Project Review Identify and record risks and issues in accordance with project standards. Agree escalation level, and then manage those assigned through to resolution Work with all stakeholders to ensure they have a full understanding of their responsibilities and commitments to the communications/project plan as well as the impact of the project on their respective businesses Ability to negotiate and draw on specialist resources from other areas within Group Communications Ability to create content and offer an editorial capability within the function Skills Required: Financial services experience is a must for this role. Appreciation of internal communications best practice and project management methodology Competent use of Microsoft Office applications Communication skills Knowledge of relevant software and social media tools Managing multiple stakeholders Understand business strategy / planning / change Previous work experience in a Communications/ Project / Change environment and/or working knowledge of a business operation and related technology Gathering information from a range of different sources and in a number of different ways e.g. data collection, interviews, meetings, review of processes, manuals, documentation review etc Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workloads and work on own initiative Flexibility to work on a variety of projects and teams
