Our client is a public sector organisation who are looking to transform their procurement function. They require a highly effective and tenacious Procurement Consultant to assist them with this change. The role will involve consulting with a large range of stakeholder's to review the current procurement function and develop and plan a new function. There will be a requirement to assist the organisation in implementing the new structure, managing them through the significant period of change. The successful candidate will have: A track record of service improvement redesign and the relevant elements, for example but not exclusively, restructuring, staff consultation, stakeholder management (Management Board and Members); Had a lead role involving procurement of extensive interface with these elements, for example, major procurement exercise, competitive dialogue or external supplier interface; An understanding of supplier management, category management and procurement/commissioning models. Experience with both public and private sector Be MCIPS qualified or equivalent
