GFI MAX is a remote monitoring and management platform used by managed services providers to deliver service to their customers. Within the platform we have a mechanism that allows it to be extended by use of scripts that address functionality that is not present within the core application. These scripts can be created in any of 8 different scripting languages but the most commonly used are VBS and Powershell. We have a list of scripts that have been suggested and the list is always longer than we can address using the core development team so we are looking for people to carry out development of scripts for us. These need to be self-contained pieces of functionality that can be called with parameters and will return results using exit codes and output to STDOUT. We would be able to provide a list of script topics that we would like to have addressed and would also be open to ideas from potential script writers as to things they think would benefit our managed service provider customers in managing their customer's networks and systems.
