I'm looking for a highly skilled layout designer to produce a number of ebooks for Kindle, iBooks and Google eReaders that look great across the different platforms. Indesign is not a must. I'm open to whatever program you may want to use, though Smashwords (or similar) is not an option I'm interested. The books must include: ~ hyperlinks where relevant ~ email subscription box at the start and end of each book ~ contents sheet that link to appropriate pages/sections ~ images ~ page numbers ~ attractive and consistent chapter headers, sub-headers, formatting Two of the books also need a cover (the others have been done already). Covers will follow a template that is being designed by another designer (though I'm always open to suggestions). Basically need a relevant image to the book overlayed on the template. Books across the entire range need to be consistent. This will be the first range of books released in the series. Books for conversion to Kindle and epub: 1. Civil Disobedience by Henry David Thoreau (need cover) - 10k words 2. Apology by Plato (need cover) - 11k words 3. Live a Bold Life: Gandhi's Principles - 30,000 words 4. Books and Essays that Influenced Gandhi (a) The Light of Asia (b) Apology by Plato (translated) - 10k words (c) Unto This Last by John Ruskin - 30k words (d) Civil Disobedience by Henry David Thoreau (translated) - 10k words (e) Ethical Religion by William Salters (epub can be supplied for this) 5. Live a Bold Life: Gandhi's Principles plus Books and Essays that Influenced Gandhi This will be the first range of books released in a series over the next couple of years so there will be an opportunity for ongoing work for the right person.
