Location: San Jose, CA Job Category: Front-End Web Tools Developer Duration: 3-6 months contract-hire Rate: As per market standard Responsibilities • Develop high-performance, reliable and maintainable code whether implementing architectural improvements, features, or fixing bugs. • Deeply investigate current and future CSS3 and HTML5 implementations and effectively document/communicate findings. • Embrace a highly collaborative and effective team that requires effective communication and quality of contributions. • Must be able to work with a minimum of technical supervision and supplemental engineering support. • Work with industry leaders defining Adobe's future tooling initiatives. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience. • 3-5+ year's overall development experience using web technologies. • Extensive knowledge of, and experience with, front-end web technologies; specifically, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3. • C++, Java or Objective-C experience a plus. • Proven results oriented person - especially in the areas of writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable code. • A fundamental love of APIs, algorithms, object-oriented design. • A passion for empowering web professionals to create more engaging experiences. • Works well in a team environment; can develop strong working relationships and promote a positive, collaborative tone. • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; can effectively articulate complex ideas and influence others through well-reasoned explanations. • Experience with Agile development processes including Scrum. • Webkit development experience a plus. • Experience building web pages for multiple devices a plus. • Responsive design experience highly desired.
