Operations Technician D-Shift - Temporary Position Req#13 06 QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Processing Quality Product. 2. Setting up Wafer Equipment for processing. 3. Qualifying Wafer Equipment. 4. Document wafer/Lot processing in a computer database. JOB SUMMARY: · Experienced Semiconductor Fab operations/manufacturing technician with a commitment to quality output and expertise in at least 3 tools (ASML, Micrascan III, TwinScan , AMAT SEM, Suss, ACT8/12 tracks and1X mask aligner). Ability to hand dispense resist a plus. · Must be able to process wafers in a flexible Development environment. · Position requires a quick learner with better than average Fab processing skills. Must have a good understanding of SPC principles and application. · High level of communication skills a must to understand and work with staff engineers. Also must communicate effectively with multiple customers to evaluate and resolve problems. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: · Set up and operation of wafer manufacturing equipment, making recommendations to the E ngineering Dept. on ways to improve process control & yield . · S upport E ngineering activities for process improvements; maintain accurate documentati on of the wafer/lot processing. · P erform per shift, weekly & pr eventative maintenance a s well as quality controls on the wafer equipment. · Must maintain a safe work environment, which may include housekeeping, labeling and proper disposal of waste. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: · Must have a minimum of an AA degree in the electronic field, with equivalent education with a GPA minimum of 3.0 or with equivalent prior experience in the semiconductor industry. · 5+ years experience working in semiconductor R&D or manufacturing Fab. · Better than average skills in at least (ASML, Micrascan III, TwinScan, AMAT SEM, Suss, ACT8/12 tracks and1X mask aligner). · Ability to hand dispense resist a plus. · Must be able to process wafers in a flexible development environment, · Ability to multitask. · Experience with specification (SPC) systems and controls. · Strong communication and customer service skills. · Reliability in attendance and work quality is a must. · Ability to use MS Word and Outlook and have basic computer skills. · Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment. OTHER SPECIAL CONDITIONS/REQUIREMENTS: · Must be abl e to work compressed 12 hour C- shifts (with breaks per federal and state regulations); with extended periods of standing required for entire shift. · Work hours from 6 am to 6 pm. · Works in clean room environment, wearing appropriate clean room attire including bunny suit, face mask, safety glasses, and gloves . · Additional safety gear may be required, depending on task. · Regular lifting of wafer foops is required (approx 25#). · Duties may include loading reticles on scanner, which requires lifting reticle pods ( approx imately 15 pounds ) at eye level or above. · Safety Glasses Required. · Ear plugs are recommended, and may be required for some tasks.
