web application accessing mobile device camera and temporary virtual storage
Project Summary: User goes to application URL through their browser on iPhone and Android OS, is prompted with a login page. After logging in, user has button to 'Take Photo' accessing the device's camera and taking a picture (however does not save it to their local library - this is key). The photo is shown on the next page with an 'Upload and Send' button. The photo is uploaded to a web server and a private URL is automatically generated that the user can email the generated URL to another individual. Ideally, it will also generate a random password that the user must give to the other individual. The user receiving the email from the sender clicks the generated URL, prompts them for the password and they can access the photo. The photo is then instantly deleted as soon as the page is closed. (Right clicking disabled on the page to avoid someone saving the image) In short, we want a user to be able to snap a photo, avoid having it save to their local image library, have it upload to a password protected webpage, be able to send that web page URL to someone along with the password, and have the page destroyed after a time limit or after the password has been entered and the image has been shown once.
