Title: Financial Planning Analyst Location: Portland, OR Type: 6 Month Contract Job: 11538 Key deliverables are SAP data entry, Cognos report running, demand plan updates, cross-functional communication. We are the inventory planning team. This is a new team who is currently managing through the startup of the business. We are a team of 7 demand and inventory planners, plus 3 PO analysts. We are currently in our (relatively) slow season but will soon ramp up as shipments increase in August and September. This is a temporary role while we prepare for the peak shipping season in the fall. The team is currently undergoing an org assessment. There is a chance that this could become a permanent position on the team. Skills and Experience: * Must have Excellent plans into Excel experience, familar with entering information into SAP and run Cognos reports, plus analysis of reports experience, plus 5-8 years of Inventory or Planning Analyst experience * Must have excellent communication and observation skills General Demand/Inventory Planning Analyst position description: Prepares and/or leads the timely and insightful financial analysis of pertinent information to determine progress against strategic plan, budget and forecast, and to ensure integrity of the financial statements. * Leverages strong understanding of financial systems and data elements. * Leads projects and continually seeks ways to improve financial processes. * Actively interprets and reviews financial results with business managers, including trends/issues and opportunities, to drive actionable responses. * Ensures management is educated on use and interpretation of financial reports and metrics. * Advises on financial implications of business decisions. * Identifies and/or develops relevant management reporting and analytical tools. ________________________________________________________________ InfoGroup Northwest Inc., located in beautiful Portland, Oregon is a premier IT Staffing firm for some of the Northwest's top Mid Sized and Fortune 500 companies.
