KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF A JUNIOR LOGISTICS ENGINEER: The Logistics Engineer will coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities. The Logistics Engineer will present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients. The Logistics Engineer will recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence. The Logistics Engineer will analyse technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OF THE JUNIOR LOGISTICS ENGINEER: Experience and knowledge of lean supply chain principles, specifically those applied to pull replenishment, Parts Global network material flow, packaging, containerization, supplier planning requirements/parameters, and safety Competent MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word Excellent Communication & Team Working Skills Ideally candidate must possess advanced analytical skills and 6 Sigma project management principles as a Green Belt Experience of MFG/PRO or SAP Competent using MS Access database Professional Supply Chain accreditation /HND / relevant University Degree is advantageous
