Senior Project Manager/Program Manager – - Fed Capital Reporting MANDATE: The Senior Project/Program Manager demonstrates an in-depth understanding of Enterprise strategies and initiatives, delivers large-scale and complex project(s) or program(s) that create the intended value for the organization, while communicating the organizational impacts. The Senior Project/Program Manager is accountable for overseeing all functions relating to the activities of Project Managers and their teams, and is accountable for creation of new or changed deliverables (i.e., product, services, or process) of varying size and complexity. Directing, managing, and coordinating team members may include other Senior Project Managers, Project Managers and resources for multiple projects, including people from other areas, user groups, internal and external consultants, contractors as well as vendors and external regulatory organizations. Specific requirements for this role include: - Must have a development background in data warehousing and data marts, either having been a developer or development manager. - Must have large project delivery experience in a large, geographically dispersed, financial services organization. - Must understand how to operationalize the system and transition it in a steady state mode to our operations team. - Must be experienced in managing multiple project managers. - Must have experience managing co-located teams. - This person must have very strong presentation and communication skills as they will be working directly with project leadership. - Prior Basel experience and Federal Capital Reporting experience is a plus. ________________________________________ ACCOUNTABILITIES • Perform as Senior Project/Program Manager for the - Fed Capital Reporting Project. The effort includes producing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on all assets. Up to 350 data attributes per loan and required. Also includes securities. • Ensures the creation of project deliverables with specified level of quality for the project sponsor, on time and within budget, by coordinating resources and controlling the project(s) or program(s) • Manages the activities of project(s) or program(s) to align with a strategic direction, and communicates executive expectations to the project team in order to translate strategic plans into program deliverables • Reviews and oversees planning, preparation, and maintenance of project or program schedules in order to meet standards • Uses proper planning and monitoring techniques to control project or program costs • Prepares program documentation and roll-up reports, that takes into consideration management expectations, so that relevant information is communicated to management • Communicates with and engages project sponsors and other stakeholders to ensure adequate representation on the project • Manages differences in scope, schedule, and cost priorities for projects, between various stakeholder groups and within the project team, in order to resolve conflicts • Negotiates highly complex contracts with multiple vendors, or negotiates for large resource pools with internal organizations, to fulfill the project needs • Provides leadership, motivation, coaching, and professional development to project teams in order to obtain a high level of co-operation and contribution from all project members • Contributes to improve the best practices of the project management community within the Enterprise to help maintain project management professionalism • Coordinates and facilitates various committee meetings to ensure appropriate engagement by key governance bodies
