Kforce is seeking a Tax Accountant for a fast growing and reputable organization in the Canonsburg, Pennsylvania area. This position will include: Assist in internal and external reporting requirements including financial reporting and analytical processes Work on the preparation and analysis of monthly trending reports Work on the preparation and analysis of the quarterly cash flow report Understand accounting policies, procedures, systems, and controls which ensure the accuracy of the reported consolidated financial information presented Prepare portions of the consolidated Federal Tax Return Prepare selected combined / consolidated and stand-alone State Income Tax Returns Prepare state annual reports and assist to maintain entities in good standing Be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with various accounting personnel at operation locations as well as with various personnel at the Executive Office to include the Accounting, Treasury, Legal, and Human Resources Departments Utilize compliance software to prepare federal and state quarterly estimated Tax payments and extensions Manage all aspects of the preparation and timely filing of all state / local indirect Taxes including: Sales and Use Tax, Gross Receipts Tax, Personal Property Tax, annual reports, and business licenses Assist with Tax planning and identification / implementation of Tax savings opportunities Maintain Tax records and calculations for current and previous years Perform technical Tax research and compliance to support Tax positions as needed The successful Tax Accountant applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field required A Master's Degree is preferred 5+ years of tax experience are strongly encouraged Strong MS Excel skills and knowledge Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills are necessary
