The successful Senior Application Developer / Programmer will meet the following requirements: Generally requires minimum 5 years of hand-on development experience and possesses deep technical abilities in one or more primary products, programs or technologies Minimum of 3+ years with experience in developing applications using IBM Message Broker (WMB) and Java/J2EE applications Minimum of 3+ years of experience using IBM MQ Family tool sets including IBM Message Broker V6.0/V7.0, IBM MQ V6.0 and IBM WBI Adapters Minimum of 3+ years with standards/technologies that enable messaging, including XML, WSDL, SOAP, JMS, HTTP and SSL Minimum of 3+ years of Database (Oracle/Sybase) and PL\SQL Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience Extensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) WMB 6.1 or above - minimum 3 years Desired skills: Very strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to implement enterprise-wide software solutions through all phases Facets product development environment is highly preferred but not required Experience working on Facets Extension, interfaces & reports development Willing to learn new technologies Should be able to work independently with minimum support/mentoring Good Communication Skills Experience working with off-shore development teams
