Our large Federal Government Department Client is in a significant period of growth and requires an experienced Global VOIP Support Officer for an initial 6 month contract.  This position is based in Canberra. The role:  In order to be considered for this position, candidates must be of Australian Citizenship, who currently holds or has an ability to obtain a security clearance. A current security clearance is preferred. Furthermore, your day to day responsibilities, you would be expected to:    o Preliminary investigation and troubleshooting of VoIP, and  WAN and LAN faults. o Manage and operate  Cisco VOIP System from a technical perspective. This includes Unified Call Manager v8.6, Unified Call Manager Express v8.6, Unified Contact Centre Express v8.5, Unity Express, hard phones and soft phones o Documentation tasks such as preparing Request for Change documentation and updating technical documentation including Visio diagrams. o Carry out network changes to VoIP and WAN and LAN as required. o Administrative tasks such as purchasing and asset control.   As the ideal candidate, you will be in possession of the following skills and experience: o TCP/IP o Cisco Routing, Switching technologies o Cisco Unified Call Manager v8.X o Cisco Unified Call Manager Express v8.X o Cisco hard phones and softphones o Cisco Unified Contact Centre v8.X o Cisco Unity Express o Quality of Service across Cisco Networks o MS Office Suite o MS Visio Some knowledge and practical experience with operating Cisco VPN, ARC Operator Console, SolarWinds Orion and Cisco Works technologies would be an advantage.   If you feel that this sounds like the right opportunity for you or know of anyone who may be suitable, then please contact Meg Geronimo on 02 6213 5900 quoting job reference #1051072 Keywords: Infrastructure, Support, Network
