We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City Area.   We are currently looking for a Network Admin to join our team. Summary: Technical individual responsible for executing and auditing for compliance with, information security policies and procedures. Owns the technical systems used to maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality, integrity and security in all information systems. Advises and works closely with the Security Officer (s) who authors the policy.   Essential Duties & Responsibilities: ·         Owns technical implementations that ensure ongoing compliance with information security directives as mandated by HIPAA, EHNAC, SAS70 and other regulatory bodies and accreditations that the company must comply with. ·         Provides technical analysis and documentation as needed. ·         Advise appropriate personnel of significant developments internally and externally when new policies may be needed. ·         Provide regular reports on security, risk assessment and audits to ensure that information systems are protected and meet compliance requirements. ·         Maintains logs on security violations/incidents with information systems. ·         Participates and designs enhancements to new and existing systems. ·         Responsible for maintaining antivirus and network defense solutions. ·         Install, support and maintain the network. ·         Troubleshoots network issues to resolution.   Other Duties: ·         Monitors the network to ensure it is performing optimally. ·         Works with System Administration on other issues as needed. ·         Follows corporate policies and procedures. Follows and gives input to departmental policies and procedures. ·         Uses logic and analytical methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions; appropriately utilizes resources available to them when solving problems; has excellent and objective analysis skills; provides next steps, recommendations and/or solutions. ·         Has the functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment and/or high-level results. ·         Learns technical product, programs and systems continuously; learns and/or acquires new skills and knowledge frequently; keeps abreast of new technology, process and/or product; determines when and how to apply them using methodical, thorough, and accurate approach. ·         Is customer focused; committed to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; obtains customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services; acts with customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect. ·         Practices attentive and active listening; has the patience to hear people out; can accurately restate the opinions of others even when he/she disagrees. ·         Capable of producing clearly written solution reviews, in addition to documentation of existing functionality, and or changes that can be understood and/or used by other members of the team. ·         Actively participates in meetings; works as a team member with the department and company in mind, as opposed to an individual. ·         Spends time doing what is important; speaks up when something important is being overlooked or pushed aside by management; has the ability to focus on important tasks not letting other things get in the way. ·         Is hardworking; full of energy when new challenges are presented; seeks opportunities.   Qualifications: ·         Strong technical skills with TCP/IP, routing and routing protocols, LAN/WAN, ports, protocols, and fibre channel technology. ·         Security Agents/devices e.g. Firewalls, data loss prevention, content screening, threat defense systems. ·         Strong experience with voice and wide-area data services networks, CISCO (CCNA) experience desired. ·         Desired: Associates degree in Information Systems or five years of Telecommunications hardware experience, preferred.   Adaptive Solutions Group offers a competitive compensation and benefits package that includes medical, dental, STD/LTD, life insurance coverage, 401k, paid vacation and holidays.
