Physical Therapist The Role Appleton is looking to fill the position(s) of Physical Therapist for a local school district. Physical Therapists are responsible tending to the special physical needs that impact students in their educational setting. Physical Therapists tend to the muscular, skeletal, and cardio deficits and impairments of students by providing techniques and recommendations that address body structure and function. Responsibilities ·         Observe all legal and ethical standards of practice ·         Assist in the development and implementation of physical therapy programs ·         Collaborate with faculty in the development of an Individualized Education Program ·         Evaluate students on an initial and continuing basis using the appropriate tests and trained observation skills ·         Arrange for the safe and proper transportation of students ·         Collaborate with schools faculty, parents, and the community in the assessment of support equipment necessary for student function ·         Monitor school accessibility for students with significant impairments ·         Help maintain and inventory supplies and equipment; document shortages Requirements and Qualifications ·         Graduate from accredited physical therapy program ·         Two years prior experience in physical therapy ·         Knowledge and understanding of regulations and standards impacting the practice ·         Up-to-date knowledge of physical therapy principles and practice ·         Knowledge of and ability to administer assessments, reliably interpret results, and issue appropriate recommendations ·         Prior pediatric experience preferred ·         Flexible with working in a variety of circumstances ·         Possess health and strength required to move or life students and objects in their environment ·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills ·         Able to pass background screening Application Process Sound like you?
